Roads and Gullies

Our roads and gullies need to be brought up to standard. I am dedicated to securing county funds for our roads and pavements. I also support the local initiative under which Gerrards Cross Town Council has devolved powers for certain local roads. The improvements are clear fixed potholes on many streets and regular emptying of gullies. I am resolved to keep up pressure for funds to restore our infrastructure to support our community.

I am very pleased we have seen success so far resurfacing Packhorse Road and Station Road; new pavements on Station Road, Marsham Way and London End in Beaconsfield; and the significant work that lead to fixing the decades old problem with flooding on the A40 between Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield. I will be driving forward more projects going forward, including the roads around the green in Hedgerley, which should be resurfaced shortly.
